Symptoms of Yeast Infection
Actually, the symptoms of yeast infection are different from one person to another. In fact, there can be other symptoms that are not necessarily stated by certain studies.
For yeast infections occurring in a female vagina, possible yeast infection signs are itching, soreness, swelling, redness, and some burning sensation. When urinating or when engaging in sex, women tend to feel pain. Discharge of thick, white liquid, which usually smells of bread or beer, is also a sign.
On the other hand, men tend to experience the same things too. Signs are swelling, itching, soreness, and redness. Just the same, they also have a hard time when engaged in sex and urinating.
Once your body manifests these symptoms, you have to pay attention to it for it may possibly be yeast infection. There is a body system imbalance and you have to act on this at once.
Don’t settle on what everybody tells you that you should get a cream. You have to take the most natural approach on this situation to treat it permanently.
Causes of Recurring Yeast infections
When you say recurring, for yeast infections, it means at least four (4) times a year. It could go even higher, which is more serious. No one should definitely wait for another year before they get it treated.
When yeast infections come from time to time, it is probably because only one symptom has been treated before. Therefore, the remedy was just temporary. It can also because you had one symptom treated right while another symptom treated wrongly. This is especially the case for high-risk groups such as persons with diabetes or with high blood sugar.
Other reasons for yeast infections that tend to common back are diet, immune system changes, birth control, and the moisture that is trapped around one’s vagina.
When you realize your infection is already recurring, you have to consult your doctor. The signs you have been observing can probably be something more serious than you have ever imagined. It’s because signs of yeast infections are sometimes mistaken as signs of diabetes. Meanwhile, yeast infections can lead to diabetes or UTI.
Do not rely primarily on creams that are recommended to you. What’s important is to get an advice from your doctor as to how to treat the yeast infection permanently.
For women, the most typical physical symptoms of vaginal yeast infections include white discharge that looks ‘yogurty’ or watery in appearance. On some cases some type of discharges do have yeasty smell while in other cases the discharge could be odorless. You also get the same discharge when you are infected with bacterial vaginosis or trichomonas and these two infections also have the same foul fishy odor. Other than the discharge there would be bouts of itching and burning sensation around the genital area of the woman and the vagina may become reddened and swollen.
Symptoms of yeast infection can also occur on other parts of the body because the fungus Candida albicans that is causing the infections can live in any part of the body. Symptoms like lesions, scaly like spots and rashes may appear on men’s, babies’ and children’s mouth. When the yeasts infect the oral cavity there would be white spots on the tongue and creases on the corner of the mouth. Thrush in these groups of people can come from different sources. Babies can have oral yeast infection if their mother or the milk of the mother is infected with the Candida. They could also get it from infected baby bottles or toys, which they always put in their mouths. Children and men can have -oral thrush because they can get it from improper oral hygiene, eating too much sugar or suffering from diseases that make their immunity level very low.
In many ways you can also see symptoms of yeast infections by the way people feel and behaved. Here are the other possible physical manifestations of yeast infections:
1. You have lesions or rash in your body and you easily get tired, fatigued and is always listless.
2. You always feel irritable and confused.
3. Depression is another symptom of yeast infection because bearing the infection can sap your energy and easily become depressed.
4. There is an aggravation of Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) and menstrual pain in women
5. Can easily get heartburn, acid-reflux and indigestion which are symptoms of yeast infection in the gut area.
6. Aching muscles due to the toxicity of the infection
7. Joint pains, headaches and respiratory problems
There are still more of the symptoms that will tell you something is wrong with your system and with yourself. If you feel any of these symptoms and suffering from disorders in your skin, genital areas, scalp, toes or any part of your body you may actually be suffering from yeast infections. Always look for cure, treatment and remedies whenever necessary so that you can get rid of the infection and get out of the mental anguish as well.
